We can design a range of high impact tree based Aerial Trekking Courses with a host of challenging elements including swings, jumps, rope bridges and elevated walkways. Poles can be added if tree density does not allow an easy progression of elements or poles can be used amongst trees to give a low maintainence course with a woodland feel.
Our materials and construction have particular regard for the environment and the health of the trees supporting the course. Naturally our materials and construction methods are of the highest order and all our wire rope systems are built with a double redundancy safety system. Materials are selected for robust long life with minimum maintenance. We use a range of technologically advanced wire ropes, matching specification to the engineering requirements of each element or safety line.
Graded and Themed Tree Courses We can offer a range of graded difficulties over a particular band of elements. Commercial users for instance may opt for 2-3 bands of difficulty to allow a choice of offerings to customers ranging from 'introductory' to 'advanced'. We incorporate a high degree of aesthetics in our designs and our styling is earthy, organic and redolent of adventure with lashings of 'Crusoe' like styling cues. Tree house platforms of various sizes and materials are offered to link the banded elements. These along with the basic materials can all be themed to suit the venue or country in which we are building. Tree houses in particular suit the activity well since they can operate as watering points, de-briefing venues, viewing platforms and also act as quick access point for safety reasons. We can offer robust stair access to these platforms. We also offer training services that will enable your staff to operate with a maximum of confidence in their facilitation skills and safety knowledge. Safety Standards and the Option of Independent Inspection In the past many courses built by other companies were unregulated and safety standards minimal. Most American and many Asian Cruise liners and tour companies are now insisting on ACCT standards and ACCT vendor backing. In addition all French Territories and some other parts of the world require an independent inspection body such as CERES or TUV. Adventure Rope Co Ltd is a Professional Vendor Member (PVM) of the ACCT. We can arrange for independent inspections and you can be assured that our courses and canopy tours meet or exceed all the relevant standards and safety requirements for the respective countries or administrative territory.
