Practitioner Certification Standards Adventure Rope is accredited as a professional Vendor Member of the Association for Challenge Course Technology, which has reviewed and approved us as a provider of practitioner certification. The ACCT is recognized as the leading international professional resource for those who create safe and effective ropes course programs that facilitate learning and positive change in individuals, groups and communities. The Practitioner Certification Standards offer a benchmark qualification for all those that aspire to achieve the highest professional standards in the rope's course industry. Introduced in 2007, the certificates offer an internationally recognized standard on several levels:
1. Practitioner Level 1 (no prior experience required)
- Level 1 Full certification: A minimum of 40 hours covering initial curriculum.
- Level 1 Spotted Activities Only: A minimum of 20 hours covering initial curriculum
- Level 1 High Activities Only: A minimum of 20 hours covering initial curriculum
- Level 1 Site/System Specific: A minimum of 8 hours covering initial curriculum

2. Practitioner Level II (Intermediate level with prior experience required) - Level II Full Certification: 40 additional hours of Level II curriculum required. Total 80 hours.
- Level II Spotted Activities Only: 24 additional hours of Level II curriculum required. Total 44 hours.
- Level II High Activities Only: 24 additional hours of Level II curriculum required. Total 44 hours.
- Level II Site/System Specific: 16 additional hours of Level II curriculum required. Total 24 hours.
3. Challenge Course Manager (Documented, significant prior experience required)
